Faculty of Pharmacy Silpakorn University was established on 5 June 1985 and has accepted students since the 1986 academic year. It is considered the 6th Faculty of Pharmacy in Thailand. The faculty is located at Sanam Chan Palace, Muang District, Nakhon Pathom Province, with “Pharmacist Associate Professor Dr. Prachote Plengwittaya” serving as dean at that time. He is considered the dean founder of the Faculty of Pharmacy Silpakorn University. The objective is to meet the needs of human resource development potential in the pharmaceutical and health science fields. Including the development of proactive missions in providing pharmaceutical services. Faculty of Pharmacy arranges teaching at the graduate level, Master's Degree and Ph.D. Faculty of Pharmacy Silpakorn University is focusing on producing graduates with knowledge, morality, ethics, and responsibility in carrying out the mission of the pharmaceutical profession, both in the public and private sectors, in a combined manner of knowledge and skills for maximum benefit.

            Aside from teaching and learning, the Faculty of Pharmacy has a mission to do research and develop pharmaceuticals and related fields providing academic services to communities in both the public and private sectors. The Faculty has various co-operations with foreign countries, especially leading universities in the United States, France, England, Germany and Japan etc.
